Founded in 1998, Aerospace
Technologies Group (ATG) is a
privately held corporation headquartered
in Boynton Beach, Florida (USA). As one
of the premier developers and suppliers
of electromechanical window shades for
private and commercial aviation, ATG
specializes in the custom development
and production of quiet, lightweight,
professional-grade shade systems.
In 2002, ATG introduced and certified
the Powertech Shade System, providing
the industry with a reliable, highly
tested, premium quality shade system
designed specifically for the aircraft
environment. The Powertech™ Shade System
was developed to meet the real product
requirements of today’s OEM’s,
modification, and completion centers
worldwide. With an unparalleled team of
engineers and designers, ATG has also
developed the Ambiance and Powertech™ NG
Shade Systems for commercial aviation
and is establishing the standard of
excellence for product innovation,
support, service, and reliability.
Today, ATG shade systems are either
certified or in final stages of
development for many models of aircraft
worldwide (click here for list) and is
poised for rapid growth for the next
decade.
Raymond
Caldiero, Chairman
Mr. Caldiero is Chairman
and Founder of The Sequoia Group, Inc.,
an investment company specializing in
hotel development and aviation ventures.
He is a veteran of the aviation
industry, having served as Vice
President for Northwest Airlines for 12
years. Prior to that, Mr. Caldiero
served as Vice President and Assistant
to the Chairman at the Marriott
Corporation for 20 years, where he was
involved in all aspects of Marriott,
including airline catering and market
planning.
Simon R. Kay, President and Chief
Executive Officer
Mr. Kay, a 30 year
veteran of the business aviation
industry, is focused on providing the
strategy and vision that will enable ATG
to be the leading manufacturer of power
window shades in the aviation industry.
Simon has held many positions within the
company, most recently as Director of
Operations. Previously, he was Director,
Completions Team for B/E Aerospace -
Aircraft Modular Products in Miami. He
managed a team of sales, engineering and
program management personnel, and was
responsible for $15 million in annual
revenues. Prior to this position, Mr.
Kay was the Program Director for B/E’s
innovative Premium Cabin ConceptsTM
integrated interior kit program.
Mr. Kay has also held
operations management positions at
Gulfstream Aerospace, as Manager of
Service Center Interiors, and at
Raytheon Aircraft. He is also a
licensed pilot (in helicopters and
gliders, as well) and a certified flight
instructor with over 6,000 hours total
flight time in aircraft and helicopters,
has obtained seven jet aircraft type
ratings, and possesses both UK CAA and
US FAA Airline Transport Pilot licenses.
Mr. Kay holds a Bachelor
of Science degree in Professional
Aeronautics from Embry-Riddle
Aeronautical University and an MBA from
Georgetown University.
Ford
Chown, Director, Engineering
Mr. Chown has been
associated with ATG since 2001 after a
distinguished 32 years as Chief
Engineer, Cabin Interiors for Air
Canada. He leads a team that is
responsible for all design and product
engineering and was a key figure in the
certification of the first installed
product on the Falcon aircraft. During
his career, Mr. Chown has had a close
working relationship with all of the
major OEMs, the regulatory authorities,
as well as other aviation personnel and
vendors. He has served as ATA chairman
of Cabin Interiors sub committee,
Chairman for Transport Canada on the
CARS (Regulations) Development, and a
member of the FAA/ JAA Harmonization
working group. In addition, he
participated in industry activities and
was a speaker/panelist at many
conferences.
Mr. Chown has written
articles for a major Interiors Aviation
magazine and recently represented a
Japanese seat manufacturer in North
America. He is a Mechanical Engineer
graduate from the University of New
Brunswick and is a member of the Order
of Engineers of Quebec. He also holds
diplomas in Aircraft Accident
Investigation from USC, and Systems
Program Management from Association of
Systems Management. Additionally, he has
Certificates for Aircraft Maintenance &
Reliability from the Transportation
Systems Group, Crashworthiness of
Aircraft Interiors from the FAA, and
Marketing High Technology.
Linna
Falzone, Vice President, Corporate
Aircraft Sales
Ms. Falzone joined ATG
mid-2000 as a 17-year aviation veteran
with established corporate aviation
credibility. Previous to ATG, Ms.
Falzone was Product Sales Representative
for worldwide sales of all window shade
systems at MSA Aircraft Products. She
had direct responsibility for
relationships with major manufacturers
such as Gulfstream and Bombardier and
led the company in sales in each of her
last 6 years. Prior positions also
include Director of Sales for Kosola and
Associates as well as Product Sales
Representative for Piedmont Aviation.
Linna is a member of Professional
Aviation Maintenance Association and
Women in Aviation.
Raymond
Tollman, Vice President, Commercial
Programs
Mr. Tollman has over 25
years experience in Engineering,
Marketing and Sales for the aerospace
industry. Prior to joining ATG, Mr.
Tollman was the US Regional Manager for
Sextant as well as Director of Corporate
Marketing for B/E Aerospace. Mr. Tollman
also served as Vice President of
Marketing for British Aerospace with
responsibility for the BAe.146 and, in
conjunction with Airbus, new twin-engine
aircraft development programs. Mr.
Tollman's engineering and operations
background includes several years with
General Electric Aircraft Engines, with
P&L responsibility as General Manager of
the Northern European Engine Service
Center, and at Rolls Royce Aero Engines,
where he completed his postgraduate
engineering training specializing in the
application of Gas Turbine technology.
Mr. Tollman holds a
Diploma in Engineering from Brunel
College of Technology, England and is an
associate member of the Institute of
Mechanical Engineers [A.M.I Mech.E].

company's ongoing commitment to quality. ATG operates a modern state-of-the-art
manufacturing facility and conference
center in Boynton Beach, Florida with
18,000 square feet of manufacturing
space.

The
company manufacturing facilities
includes a Research and Development Lab,
Assembly Dept, Paint Shop, Shipping and

Shipping and Receiving
Clerk
Prepares records of shipments and
bills of lading for freight
forwarders and carriers.
Responsible for accuracy of shipping
documents and verifying receiving
receipts with open orders.
Prepares bills of lading for each
shipment and checks and records all
items loaded for shipment.
Posts shipments to customer orders
and calculates balance yet to be
shipped.
Upon completion of shipment, closes
out orders and forwards document to
production planning and accounting
departments.
Notifies supervisor or planning
department when major discrepancies
occur, over-shipments or
substitutions have been made.
Maintains other shipping records
such as goods returned, returnable
pallets, dunnage, etc.
On
received goods, checks and counts
all items unloaded from, trucks,
trailers or other vehicles. Checks
suppliers' count and reports
discrepancies to carrier and to
purchasing office.
Collects information for damage
claims on in-transit damage.

Must have familiarity with FEDX,
UPS, and other common carrier
electronic systems.
Hazmat helpful but not required.
Must have familiarity with and
ability to use Microsoft office
